Unfortunately, all of the spots for this build day have filled.  However, we are planning an additional date in July.  If you are interested in supporting the creation of volunteer t-shirts for the event, please feel free to become a t-shirt sponsor for $100 on the registration page.  Your logo will be featured on the back of the volunteer t-shirts for this event and all of our additional volunteer events for the remainder of the year.

VOLUNTEER BUILD DAY with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville 

Join us for a rewarding day of giving back and helping build homes in our community! 

Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026 

Time: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM 

Location: Southwood Development (exact address to be provided) 

Volunteer Details: 

• 10 volunteer spots available 
• No prior construction experience necessary 
• All tools and guidance will be provided 

What to Expect: 

Spend the day working alongside Habitat staff and fellow volunteers on a home build in the Southwood redevelopment. Tasks may include framing, painting, or general site work depending on project needs. Important 

Notes: Please arrive by 7:45 AM for a prompt start.

• Closed-toe shoes 
• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
